Blizzard answers dungeon XP complaints in the Podcast Episode 3 thread: fixing a bug that based XP on the highest level in the group
The official podcast's third episode, on dungeons, said dungeon mob XP will rise by 20%, and the thread filled with complaints that this isn't nearly enough. Developer Aggrend added a bug fix the podcast didn't mention: kill XP was being awarded based on the highest level person in the group, and will now be based on each player's own level relative to the mobs.

Beta Realm Maintenance (October 8)
Blizzard took the Beta down for maintenance at 9:00 a.m. PDT on October 8 for behind-the-scenes fixes plus bug fixes and gameplay adjustments. The realm came back at 2:34 p.m. PDT, together with the new Development Notes.

Level 40 weapons at level 30: every class's weapon quests in one place
Quests that reward item level 40 to 43 weapons with no level requirement: the Warrior Whirlwind Weapon, the Shaman weapon chain, staves and maces from the Magram and Gelkis chains, Mage wands and more, sorted by class. The Magram and Gelkis rewards are due to need level 35 to equip in an upcoming hotfix, so don't start those chains now.

Brief Beta Realm Maintenance (October 6)
Blizzard is restarting the Beta realms at 3:00 p.m. PDT on October 6 to pick up priority fixes for quest items not being restocked in chests, disconnects on elevators and transports, and an error when joining or leaving a guild.

Brief Realm Maintenance (October 5)
Blizzard restarted the Beta realms to apply fixes meant to improve the game service. The Beta goes offline for a few minutes and then reopens.

Blizzard fixes Gnomeregan bosses not dropping loot
In a forum thread reporting that Gnomeregan bosses dropped no loot at all, quest items included, Blizzard's Kaivax replied that the issue was fixed on the afternoon of October 3 (Pacific Time).

Warrior Updates in Today's Beta Build
The full list of additional Warrior changes that made it into the new October 1 beta build and were added to the development notes, covering general Warrior, Fury and Protection in the original order.

City of Dalaran guide update: sewer and street maps, boss locations and drops
The City of Dalaran guide now has sewer and street maps with boss locations, the run order, the entrance and the way between floors. Missing boss drops and quest rewards have been added.

Dungeon pages have been rebuilt around quests: Loot, Quests and Guide tabs, quests and guides linked to each other, and quest rewards in the same list as drops.

Fixed: talent build images were missing their icons
Since September 28, images made with 'Save as image' in the talent calculator came out without talent icons, backgrounds or the logo. This is fixed; save your build again to get a complete image.

Talent calculator update: target level, paste a build, build effects
A target level slider above the trees, loading a build by pasting its code or link, a Build effects panel for the talents you picked, and the calculator now remembers your last build for each class.

New 1-20 leveling guides for 26 specs across all nine classes. Dungeon Loot & Guides now also covers Razorfen Kraul, Gnomeregan, all four Scarlet Monastery wings and Dalaran.

September 24 beta update now reflected in talents, spellbook, races, professions and dungeons
The talent calculator, spellbook, races & classes, professions and dungeon loot now include both the development-note changes and the unlisted changes from the September 24 beta build (1.60.1.70009).

The spellbook has been rebuilt from the game itself
Every class trainer was checked in game: the ability list is corrected, talent abilities and passives are added, and every number is recalculated from the Forever client.
