September 24 build changes not in the patch notes
Changes found by comparing the game data of the September 24 beta build (1.60.1.70009) with the build right before it (September 23, 1.60.1.69977). It covers changes the development notes don't mention at all, and the actual numbers behind changes the notes describe in a single line. Sets and pets were checked with the build diff site foreverdiff and Wowhead's datamining.
Paladin
- Retribution
- The Crusade talent has been removed from the Retribution tree. It was a 2-rank talent at the far right of row 4 (15 points) that increased all damage dealt by 1% per rank, plus another 1% per rank against Demons and Undead
Rogue
Improved Expose Armor: the 'refunds 1/2 Combo Points when Expose Armor is cast with 5 Combo Points' effect actually works as of this build. In the previous build it was only in the tooltip, and no Combo Points were refunded. The talent tooltip is unchanged
Shaman
Windfury Totem's description wrongly showed its range as 0 yards; it now correctly shows 30 yards
Warlock
Create Firestone ranks 3 and 4 now end with 'Conjured items disappear if logged out for more than 15 minutes.' The September 18 known issues list said this would be fixed in the next build
Warrior
Sunder Armor: the actual numbers behind the notes' 'corrected the threat values on all ranks'. The base threat per use (not counting the extra threat from Attack Power) changed per rank as follows- Rank 1: 1 → 34
- Rank 2: 405 → 75
- Rank 3: 608 → 117
- Rank 4: 810 → 158
- Rank 5: 1013 → 206
Races
- Gnome
Eureka!: the previous discounts, which the notes' 'changed Eureka on every class to a 10% discount on Mana, Rage, or Energy abilities' doesn't list. The discount used to differ by class and is now 10% for everyone
- Warrior (Rage) 40% → 10%
- Rogue (Energy) 20% → 10%
- Mana users other than Priest 50% → 10%
- Priest (Mana) 15% → 10%
- Everything else is unchanged: your next 3 damaging abilities deal 10% more damage (Priests: healing abilities and healing too), lasts 15 sec, 2 min cooldown

Item sets
- The 'Adaptation' armor sets crafted from ooze and devilsaur materials were removed from the game data entirely: 21 armor pieces, 12 Adaptation buffs, and the three boss abilities tied to them (The Horror, Revildesh, Metamorphic Fury)
- Four new sets were added: Rotmender's Raiment, Violet Sorcerer's Vestments, Krol'dok Battlegear, Defias Enforcer's Garb
- Rotmender's Raiment (a leveling healer set) bonuses
- 2 pieces: +10 Intellect
- 3 pieces: threat reduced by 5%
- 4 pieces: dropping below 15% mana restores 600 mana over 15 sec (once every 5 min)
