Beta known issues — Legacy panel & barber chair LUA errors and more

Blizzard opened the beta with the following known issues. Items marked “next build” are already fixed internally.

Interface & general

• Legacy panel: opening it with the Y hotkey before level 25 causes LUA errors on tabs 1 and 3.
• Barber chairs cause a LUA error.
• Character friends are disabled in the beta.
• The minimap may be partially off the screen.
• The character pane doesn’t display level, class or titles (work in progress).
• Guild charters can’t be signed — for now a charter can be handed in with no signatures.
• Coldridge Valley doesn’t reveal on the map when explored (next build).

Classes & combat

• Vengeance (Retribution Paladin) can activate off periodic critical strikes (next build).
• Holy Strike doesn’t feel great per rank (next build).
• Starshards (Night Elf Priest racial) doesn’t benefit from Twilight Focus (next build).
• Create Firestone ranks 3–4 don’t show the conjured item tooltip (next build).
• Hunter & Warlock pet stats on the character sheet (mana, health scaling, hit, expertise, movement speed) are missing or wrong (work in progress).
• Caster glancing blow chance and damage reduction are wrong at all levels; melee glancing damage reduction is wrong against higher-level targets, so the character sheet values are off too.

Quests & items

• Waylaid Crates don’t work on items whose max stack is smaller than the required quantity (next build).
• Waylaid Crate: Apprentice Curiosities rejects Greater Magic Essence and targets Lesser Magic Essence (next build).
• Teldrassil — in “Escaping Ban’ethil”, Sentinel Lynessa Duskblossom runs too fast and spams Strike (next build).
