The Summer 2027 major update lists 'Professions & Legacy updates'.
CAMPING
Professions now help the whole group around the campfire.

Cooking's simple campfire becomes the Basic Campfire, and placing one creates a campsite: rest, vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs, built up together as nearby players contribute objects from their own professions.

LEGACY
Account-wide Legacy points go into the Legacy tree. Professions, Adventure and Resourcefulness open first; at launch you can earn up to 65 points and spend up to 16 per character. Legacy Challenges award 1 point the first time you reach 150, 225 and 300 in Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking or Tailoring (demo UI).

DEMO
An Azeroth Commerce Authority market sits at Three Corners in Redridge Mountains, where the roads from Elwynn and Duskwood meet (Horde: Durotar Supply and Logistics). Turning in missing supply crates earns Merchant's Favor, spent on profession recipes — Alchemy 39, Engineering 42, Enchanting 20, Tailoring 11, Cooking 5, certifications 80.
Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert and Artisan supply packs (5 Favor, random materials for that tier), an Honored Advertising License Application (80, starts a quest for a Dwarven Tradeskill Sign toy) and an Exalted tabard (5 gold + 100 Favor).
Each crafting profession has a certification (80 Favor) that unlocks an account-wide title such as "the Alchemist"; displaying it requires 300 skill in that profession.
A chewed-up book from Northshire kobolds starts a quest that rewards a choice of Mining, Skinning or Herbalism manual: +2 skill (max 15), and it teaches the profession if you have a free slot.
