The elemental skies — a floating isle the wind spirits anchored in the elemental plane

The Skyborne (shen'dorei, the 'hidden people') descend from those who left Eldre'Thalas after the War of the Ancients. Their elemental benefactors have vanished and the pylons holding the isle together are failing, so parts of Zephras are falling into ruin. Classic Warcraft style meets architecture inspired by Skywall.

• The Windshapers (Horde), the High Order (Alliance) and the Al'Aketh vie for control of the isle
• Skyborne can be Warriors, Hunters, Rogues and Druids, plus Mages (Alliance) or Shamans (Horde)

Eastern Kingdoms — a previously inaccessible part of the Classic world bordering the Burning Steppes, Redridge Mountains, Swamp of Sorrows and Badlands

A rugged frontier of rivers, grasslands, trade routes, struggling communities and old grudges. Roughly the size of Stranglethorn Vale with nearly 200 quests, Blizzard calls it one of the first major examples of 'new, but familiar' content.
