Discoveries
The reward of a four-step quest chain open to both factions from level 14. There is no quest giver: you click objects across the world, crossing both continents.

Start: Alliance at the Burned-Out Remains in Alexston Farmstead, Westfall; Horde at the Burned-Out Remains by the burned tower on the Field of Giants, The Barrens. Hand it in at the other continent's starting spot and take the next quest from the Nailed Plank beside it.

Webwinder Path climbs west over the mountain from the road north-east of Sun Rock Retreat, Stonetalon Mountains. At the abandoned camp at its end, the Pocket Litter on a box by the tent gives the next quest; the Mound of Dirt on the hill to the north is across a gap you jump.

Stonewrought Dam at the north end of Loch Modan: walk out along the dam, face north towards the Wetlands and drop onto the carved dwarf heads below the top. The Carved Figurine sits on them.

Thoradin's Wall: on the Hillsbrad Foothills side, south-east of Durnholde Keep, climb the cart leaning on the wall onto the wall, go through the room inside and look right for the Messenger Bag. The Hastily Rolled-Up Satchel just under it holds the Cozy Sleeping Bag.

Fish in Redridge Mountains (pools east of Lake Everstill, in the river south of Stonewatch Keep and a small lake nearby), loot from the zone's mobs and cook it at 85 Cooking. You do not choose the form for now: male characters become a murloc, female characters an ogre.
In the south of Zephras Isle, where a few frogs sit together on a rock, type /sing: a frog appears on the log beside you. Right-click it to get this item. No level or faction requirement.
The two-handed axe dropped by Rhahk'Zor, the first boss of The Deadmines. Forever gives it a use effect that opens Copper, Tin, Silver and Iron veins without Mining, with limited charges.
Wear all five pieces of Embrace of the Viper and a druid's Cat Form becomes a snake — the tooltip does not say so. Every piece comes from Wailing Caverns: one from each of several bosses, the gloves from trash.
Mage only. After the librarians' quest teaches the new Study skill, you spend a (6 seconds, 1-hour cooldown, in a library) to make this bundle. It holds mage scrolls such as summons and weapon imbues.
