Low frame rate & Lua error pop-ups

Low frame rate
Forever's new lighting is the single heaviest setting in the beta. Open Esc → System → Graphics and set Secondary Lighting to Fair. On most machines that alone recovers most of the lost frames. If you still need more, drop it to Low.
After that, these are the settings that buy the most frames, in order:
- Shadow Quality: the biggest win after lighting. Fair or lower.
- Liquid Detail and Particle Density: noticeable in cities, raids and anywhere with water.
- Environment Detail and Ground Clutter: lower these if your frame rate dips while riding outdoors.
- Resample Quality: anything above 100% renders the game at a higher resolution than your screen and scales it down. Set it back to 100%.
- Vertical Sync off, if your frame rate sits just under your monitor's refresh rate.
Before you dig into single settings
Drop Graphics Quality one preset step, check the frame rate, then raise back only what you miss. It is faster than tuning twenty sliders, and the preset also moves Texture Resolution, which matters on cards with around 2 GB of VRAM.Lua error pop-ups
Type this in chat and the pop-ups stop:
/console scriptErrors 0
The same switch lives in Esc → Interface → Help → Display Lua Errors. Use /console scriptErrors 1 to turn it back on.
