Beta Update Maintenance: level cap going to 30

Blizzard community manager Kaivax announced the Beta maintenance on Sep 30 (Wed), 5:17 PM.

Tomorrow morning PDT, we will take the WoW Forever Beta offline for maintenance. Several hours later, the Beta will resume with an updated build that includes changes and fixes, with the level cap raised to 30.

We’ll have all the details here tomorrow. ↗

When the Beta is down

• The notice says “tomorrow morning,” and it was posted on September 30 Pacific time. Maintenance begins sometime between Oct 1 8 AM–12 PM.
• Blizzard did not give an exact time beyond saying the Beta comes back several hours later, so expect it back sometime between Oct 1 12 PM–6 PM.
• What actually changed in this build will follow in the development notes after the maintenance.

What the level 30 cap opens up

The Beta has been capped at level 20 until now. At 30 you get more talent points and can reach the upper tiers of the trees, and the dungeons and battlegrounds that were out of reach at 20 open up: Blackfathom Deeps (22), Stormwind Stockade (23), Razorfen Kraul (24), the Excavation Site (24), Gnomeregan (25), Dalaran (28) and the four wings of Scarlet Monastery (30).
