We changed how the BiS gear lists are built. Sorry for the confusion
We're truly sorry for the confusion our BiS gear lists caused. Here's how the criteria have changed and what we've corrected.
Rewards from high-level quests you can pick up at 30 are back
At first we left out rewards from quests that are hard to finish at level 30. However, many players have been forming groups, completing these high-difficulty quests and earning powerful gear, often defeating bosses in dungeons far above their level to finish them.
So if a quest can be picked up at level 30, its rewards are now BiS candidates even when the quest level is higher. When the best item is hard to get, we also show easier alternatives next to it.
Reputation items vendors don't sell have been removed
The BiS lists included the level 28 versions of Darkspear Raiders and Theramore Expeditionary Force reputation rewards. These items exist in the game files, but the quartermasters only sell the versions that require level 38 or higher. These items have been removed from both the BiS and PvP pages.
Removed items:
- Insurgent's Band
- Darkspear Signet
- Darkspear Warding Pendant
- Darkspear Raider's Cloak
- Theramore Signet
- Militant's Band
- Seal of the Expedition
- Expeditionary's Cape
Items from the Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley reputation vendors are removed as well. These battlegrounds aren't open yet, so their quartermasters sell nothing. Once they open, we'll check what the vendors sell and add the items back.
To everyone who went looking for these items at a vendor, we apologize once more. From now on we'll confirm vendor items in game before listing them. If anything looks off, please let us know with the feedback button at the bottom right of the page.
