Pick the spec you'll level as. Each spec has its own talents, professions, gear and way to fight.

• FireDamageRecommendedLv 20 · 0/11/0→Up to 20, a Fire mage does most of its damage with a wand. Each kill makes your next Fire Blast more likely to crit thanks to Wake of Fire, so pull the next enemy with it, finish with your wand and keep moving. Spells have low base damage, which makes Tailoring gear especially important.
• ArcaneDamageLv 20 · 11/0/0→Up to 20, your wand is an Arcane mage's best tool. Boost it with Wand Specialization, pull with Fireball and finish with your wand. In dungeons, Arcane Explosion on packs puts you well ahead, and Arcane Blast arrives at 20.
• FrostDamageLv 20 · 0/0/11→A Frost mage fights with Frostbolt and finishes low-health enemies with Fire Blast. When mana runs low, your wand is really good. Ice Lance arrives at 20 — weave it in on frozen targets for big damage.
