Pick the spec you'll level as. Each spec has its own talents, professions, gear and way to fight.

• AfflictionDamageRecommendedLv 20 · 11/0/0→Affliction Warlocks level by putting DoTs on enemies and finishing with a wand. Wands scale with spell power, so they deal close to Shadow Bolt damage for no mana. Improved Corruption, taken from 10 to 14, makes Corruption instant, and Summon Voidwalker can tank several dotted enemies. The level 20 Summon Succubus deals enough damage to hold threat on its own.
• DemonologyDamageLv 20 · 0/11/0→Demonology Warlocks pour their talents into the pet while they DoT enemies and finish with a wand. The level 10 Summon Voidwalker holds threat well enough to tank several dotted enemies, and the level 20 Summon Succubus is the highest-damage pet. Improved Sayaad, taken at the same level, makes her even stronger.
• DestructionDamageLv 20 · 0/0/11→Destruction Warlocks apply DoTs and fill with Shadow Bolt. From 10, Bane cuts the cast time of Shadow Bolt and Immolate. A wand is an equally good filler, so use it to save mana. Shadowburn at 20 gives you an instant finisher.
