The old capital is still crawling with Scourge. Packs are dense and patrols are long, so pulling carefully and tracking patrols is most of the fight. There is more than one way through: the route confirmed in the beta goes east from the entrance into the spider area, south, then west along the graveyard fence into Market Street.
The roster, order and names come from the beta client's encounter table — but those names can differ from what you actually see in game: here The Butcher shows up as The Baron. The table's "Lordaeron Captain" is left out: in game that name belongs to a quest giver inside the dungeon, not to a boss. Mechanics and the route are only as far as first-hand beta reports confirm them.
Before you go
- Witherfang patrols the large open room in the spider area east of the entrance, adds in tow — watch her route before you pull anything.
- Undead packs are tight; assign crowd control and interrupts in advance.
- A poison dispel makes the Witherfang section much easier.
- A standard tank/healer/three-DPS group is the safest setup, and at low level it pays to take one pack at a time.

The map is the real terrain of the Lordaeron ruins, stitched from the beta client's minimap tiles. The entrance (triangle) is the instance portal as the client places it in the terrain. Boss spots are still unmarked: no coordinates exist in the client or in any guide, because mob positions live only on the server.

WitherfangBossspot not on the map
Head east from the entrance into the spider area and she sits in a large open room ringed by spiders. She patrols with one Spider and two Broodlings, so it is safer to pull after she moves off. The packs around her are level 14-16. Her hits apply a poison - dispel it.

The AbandonedBossspot not on the map
Clear the undead packs in Market Street on the west side and this level 18 ghost floats down to fight. The Ghostly Citizens do not aggro, so leave them. He roots everyone nearby for 8 seconds with a large Frost Nova and casts Life Drain, which can be interrupted.

The Butcher(The Baron)Bossspot not on the map
In game this boss shows up as "The Baron"; "The Butcher" is only what the client's encounter table calls it. Which one is final is not known yet, so both are listed. The same thing happens in the Hall of Thanes, where the table's "Infurnus" is Magmatus in game. First-hand beta reports place it south of Witherfang and then west through the opening in the stonework: a huge abomination that hits very hard and knocks the tank into the air. Its threat is unsteady enough to wander onto other party members, so hold back on damage.

Rath'maelBossspot not on the map
The level 20 final boss, standing on the purple rune on the ground. Interrupt or stun his Flamestrike - stop that and he is not much of a threat. Pull him off the rune into the previous area for room.

Viktor the VileBossspot not on the map
Igniting the light in the southwest brings waves of enemies and then him. Few beta groups report a kill.

BjorkBossspot not on the map
Drop down from Market Street into the foggy skeleton area and he is the level 19 boss there. A gigantic undead troll: slow but heavy-hitting, and he puts up Anti-Magic Shell like a death knight, so hold your casts while it is up. The packs around him are dense - clear room before pulling.
